This was the first non-fiction book I laid my hands on (I usually read a lot of fiction but my goal was to read more non-fiction) and one I am constantly re-reading and learning from. Thank you Amazon.com for even recommending it based on books previously purchased.
In the Company of Women: Inspiration and Advice from over 100 Makers, Artists, and Entrepreneurs is compromised by so many talented women that I was left speechless when I first read it. From women that you probably already support to finding new women to be inspired by and of course new businesses to support. Also, the author, Grace Bonney, has a beautiful website, Design*Sponge, filled with many creative articles.
Edit: I have, since originally posting this article, found out that Grace Booney has a podcast called, Good Company, which you can check out in whichever platform you use to listen to your favorite podcasts.
This book was the catalyst to the creation of Label Me Mom, it truly motivated me to go out on my own and find what else I could do and to be able to support more individuals.
